"Orcutt’s solo, accompanied by Die Nachthelle, D. 892, was just as brilliantly evocative. Like the poet’s powerful and sublime imagery, Orcutt parallels the song’s flow from the stratospheric range of the male voices to the contrasting movement from hushed shimmers to a glorious crescendo and then a return to the gentle satisfaction found in nocturnal serenity."

The Utah Review | 2019

"...uses our blissful perception of nursery rhymes as a prelude to reveal the darkness within them. Dancers Tyler Orcutt and Justin Bass triumphed in delivering the message of this unorthodox duet."

   - Kathy Adams,

The Salt Lake Tribune | 2015

"Dancers Ursula Perry and Tyler Orcutt exhibited a mastery of contained fluidity that established the weight of connection, and their artistic maturity allowed it to arrive safely and responsibly at a depiction of intimate partner violence."

   - Nora Price,

"The last image, Orcutt balancing on a chair, quaking visibly, was a clear testament to this onstage community’s ability to toil together and to overcome..."
